We have enjoyed this soup over the last few days and I couldn’t wait to share a picture of it with you. If you are a fan of red bell peppers like me, then you will be sure to love this soup too! It is a very creamy and rich soup with a hint of spiciness as well, depending on your tolerance level. This soup recipe was created by the famous Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.
Where do vegans get their protein? How much protein do we need each day? Do plants have protein? Which plants have the most amount of protein? Mexican food, and New Mexican, style food has been a staple in my family’s diet. We grew up on eating my mom’s Mexican food which was always amazing. As a family we would go to a local restaurant in town called Los Dos Molinos which has some of the spiciest New Mexican food around.
Since I transitioned to a plant based diet, I have been searching for a tasty green chili. This recipe here was mighty tasty. Not quite to my Mom’s level but good nonetheless. You have to give it a try.
Carrots! We love incorporating them into our juices and salads. My boys love eating them raw “like a rabbit”.

Similar to individuals consuming the Standard American Diet, it is possible to either gain, maintain or lose weight eating a vegetarian or vegan diet. Let us consider the less common vegan diet where the individual is consuming 100% plant based foods.
